NFC Tag Detection Problems

Phone Shows No Response When Tag is Tapped

The most common issue - your phone doesn't vibrate, show a notification, or open anything when the NFC tag is held nearby.

iPhone Solutions (in order of likelihood):

  1. Remove phone case completely and test (thick cases block NFC)
  2. Update to latest iOS version (Settings → General → Software Update)
  3. Try different positions on the back of phone near camera area
  4. Hold tag firmly against phone for 3-4 seconds
  5. Clean both phone back and NFC tag with dry cloth
  6. Restart iPhone (hold power + volume buttons)
  7. Test with a different iPhone if available
