Tap Your TapTap Buddy with Your Phone
Hold your TapTap Buddy device close to your phone. On most phones, the NFC reader is located on the back, near the camera. You'll feel a slight vibration or see a notification when the tag is detected.

iPhone: Hold the tag near the top back of your phone
Android: Try the center back or near the camera
Enter Your Activation Code
You'll be automatically directed to the activation page. Enter the unique activation code from your order confirmation email. This code links your device to your account and ensures only you can set it up.

Create Your Child's Safety Profile
Enter your child's basic information:
- Name: First name only for privacy
- Photo: Recent, clear face photo
- Age: Helps responders provide appropriate care
- Special Notes: Any important information (optional)

Add Emergency Contacts
Add at least 2 emergency contacts. We recommend:
Primary Contact (Required - At least 1):
- • Parent/Guardian Mobile Number
* You only need one parent/guardian contact, but we recommend adding both for backup.
Additional Contacts (Recommended):
- • Second parent/guardian (Mobile)
