Sign up at taptapbuddy.com if you haven't already
TapTap Buddy device (optional for now)
You can create profiles before getting your TapTap Buddy wristband or keychain
Child's photo (optional)
Recent, clear photo for quick identification
Emergency contact info
Phone numbers for 2-3 trusted contacts
Medical info (if applicable)

Step-by-Step Profile Creation
Access Your Dashboard
- 1.Log in to your TapTap Buddy account
- 2.Click "Profiles" in the navigation or dashboard
- 3.Click the "+ Add" or "Create New Profile" button

Enter Basic Information
Fill in your child's essential information. Remember, only include what would be helpful in an emergency.
Required Fields:
- Full Name: Your child's preferred name (can be first name only for privacy)
- Profile Type: Select "Child" to enable age-appropriate features
- Age: Helps responders provide age-appropriate assistance
Optional but Recommended:
- Profile Photo: Recent, clear photo helps with quick identification
- Blood Type: Can be critical in emergency medical situations
- Doctor Information: Primary care physician contact details

Add Emergency Contacts
Add at least 2 emergency contacts in priority order. When someone finds your child, they'll call these contacts in the order you specify.
- Your name and relationship (e.g., "Mom - Sarah" or "Dad - James")
- Your mobile phone number (will be displayed with tap-to-call)
- Mark as "Primary Contact" for instant calling
- Other parent, grandparent, or trusted adult who can reach you or your child quickly
- Their mobile number with relationship clearly labeled
Additional Contacts (Recommended):
- • Local emergency contact (neighbor/nearby relative)
- • Grandparent or trusted family friend
- • School emergency contact (if applicable)

Add Medical Information (Optional but Recommended)
Include any critical medical information that could help responders provide appropriate care in an emergency. You can always add or update this later.

Before saving, take a moment to review all the information you've entered. This is what rescuers and helpers will see when they tap your child's TapTap Buddy.
Preview your profile
Click "Preview" to see exactly what helpers will see. Test tap-to-call buttons to ensure they work.
Verify contact numbers
Double-check all phone numbers are correct and current. Test call each number if possible.
Check photo quality
Ensure the profile photo is recent, clear, and properly oriented.
Save your profile
Click "Complete Profile" or "Save" to make it active and ready to link to a tag.
